Our client is a highly progressive and resourceful civil engineering consultancy capable of handling site and development infrastructure projects of any size.

These projects include Transport Assessments & Statements, Travel Plans, Accessibility Appraisals, Road Safety Audits, Traffic Modelling & Surveys, Traffic Signal Control and Highway and Pavement Design to name a few.

They have two offices, one in Bedfordshire and a recently opened office in Leicestershire, and they are interested in recruiting for both offices due to increased workload.

They are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Design Engineer to work on highways, drainage, flood risk and transportation on residential and commercial projects.

The candidate should have knowledge and understanding of design standards in order to obtain technical approvals from the various adopting authorities such as Section 278, Section 38 and Section 104.

They should have a sound knowledge of Design Manual of Roads and Bridges (DMRB), Sewers for Adoption, SuDS and relevant Building Regulations requirements.

Skills should include the use of AutoCAD, WinDes/MicroDrainage, Auto-turn packages and 3D design software together with technical report writing and good communication skills.
