An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Civil Design Engineer to join this team of structural and civil engineers based in South West London. The company work on a wide range of civil and structural projects ranging from refurbishment and new build design for retail, industrial, residential and hotel buildings through to highways design, drainage design and temporary works. The firm pride themselves on their use of state of the art 3D modelling software for design analysis in order to push the boundaries of efficiency and ensure that all their staff are conversant with the latest software by ensuring regular seminars.

Suitable candidates for this role should have significant experience working as a Civil Design Engineer with knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroDrainage software.

Ideal candidates for this role should be able to demonstrate knowledge of:

  • Storm and foul water drainage network design
  • Microdrainage and drainage design software
  • Sewers for Adoption
  • Highway layouts (horizontal and vertical layouts)
  • Flood risk assessments
  • AutoCAD
  • Preparing and checking project design and assessment calculations and drawings
