They have a diverse range of exciting and challenging projects of values up to £300 Million. These include schools, prisons, residential and mixed use developments to name a few. They are recruiting as they are losing two of the senior staff from the London office (opening new offices as part of the company growth) and so they are looking to replace this skill set and experience in London.

Your new role

Your new job will be as an associate Director (ready to step up to Technical Director level) or for an exceptional candidate to join as a technical director. At this level you will have both technical and commercial responsibilities. You will be tasked with leading the teams on multiple high profile, large value projects as well as winning new work (fee proposals, tenders etc.), ensuring repeat business ensuring the continued growth of the company. What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in the role you will be able to continue the excellence of the company. This starts at the most basic level with a strong foundation and educational background. From there you will have extensive experience in the UK, building structures market. This will be both a strong technical experience as well as market knowledge and networks. As you will be joining at the associate level the commercial side of the business is essential, you must have the ability to sit in a client facing role as well as a track record in winning work (repeat business and new work). This client particularly looks for the following criteria; education, experience, longevity (longer periods of time at companies and not job hopping) and Director level skills (work winning, networking, interaction etc).

What you'll get in return

In return you will get the opportunity to join one of the UK's leading consultancies with exceptional project work and the chance to build some experience on high profile jobs. The salary and benefits package is comparable with the market leaders and negotiable depending on your experience and suitability for the job.
