CBTC Project Manger required for a Project Management Organisation specialising in technical engineering construction and management support with over 10000 employees globally. The primary purpose of the CBTC Project Manager will be to manage the customer design team for a new communication based train control (CBTC) signalling system providing oversight of the suppliers designs and design activities and providing signalling/train control system expertise to the customer integrated team. Major tasks and duties involved in this role include supplier design oversight and assessment design review and management of design review. Management and co ordination of the design team technical leadership of the design team Lead meetings with suppliers and lead working groups. Provide technical expertise within project and to other projects. Suitable candidates will ideally have 12 yrs+ previous experience within signalling/train control engineering. Experience in large scale projects of complex networks is also essential for this role. Preferably applicants will also have experience of CBTC design CBTC Implementation railway applications signalling implementation on brownfield (existing railways) applications Functional analysis and system thinking.
