Managing Design Coordinator Design and Civil)My client is a highly successful Utility and Civil Engineering company based in Norfolk.They are looking for a Managing Design Co ordinator to co ordinate the pre construction phase of the Partnership Portfolio and to ensure all necessary design and documentation approvals are obtained according to programme, co ordinating the liaison between all parties involved with the design.Key Results Areas;1) To be the technical representative at all project related meetings.2) To gather, collate, manage and control information between al parties from start to completion.3) Produce monthly meeting progress reports4) Ensure that all technical, H & S, commercial and financial procedures and processes are followed so that the projects are delivered to an agreed program, within budgets and in compliance with all current standards, legislation and good practice.Key Performance Indicators;1) The successful delivery of projects, to programme and budget2) Liaison and good quality client feedback3) Increasing workload for the company4) Regular meeting with the Head of MEICASkills and ExperienceEssential;1) Relevant MEICA experience gained within a contracting and consulting environment2) Have a good working knowledge of water and the waste water treatment process3) A proven track record in delivering projects within budget and programme in a Design and Build environment4) Knowledge of all relevant legislation5) Understanding the importance of customer satisfaction by maintaining the highest levels of standards6) Experience and knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental requirements7) Excellent liaising skillsDesired1) Chartered engineer2) Awareness of contracts and the procurement processPersonal CharacteristicsEssential1) Good communication and people skills2) Ability to empathise3) Ability to work under pressure4) Good Project Management Skills5) Problem solving and decision making skills6) Full Drivers LicenseDesired1) CSCS Card2) Knowledge of Contract and Employment LawFor the ideal person, there is a competitive salary and package available.
