Hill International (www.hillintl.com) seeks to recruit in Macau of China for a Studio City – Casino / Leisure complex Project a: Technical Manager (TM China) Qualifications & Skills:: 4 year University Degree is required Must have a minimum of 15 years of relevant disciplineexperience Must have Casino hotel experience. Must have strong oral and written communication skills in English. DETAILED JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Reviews Design drawings reports and specifications submitted by the Design Consultants at each stage of the Design to ensure completeness correctness compliance with the scope of work and agreement requirements. Reviews and advises the Project Manager on the staged submission of the design documents. Reviews the periods shown in the Master Programme for: Employer approvals Authorities approvals and No Objection Certificates and other statutory approvals and advises the Project Manager accordingly. •Assists in monitoring the performance of the design consultants and other specialist consultants engaged by the Employer to ensure the deliverables are in accordance with the approved design program. Carries out constructability review during the Design and modification stages. Participates in the evaluation and selection of Consultants. Leads discussions on design options with the Employer and Consultants. Proposes alternative designs which improve quality constructability or value for money for the Employer and consultant’s consideration. Participates in Value Engineering workshops to identify elements of the consultants’ designs where improvements in value to the Employer are possible while maintaining the established quality standard. Reviews in a timely manner the Design Consultants’ submittals and forward comments to the Project Manager where considered appropriate. Ensures the Design Consultant incorporates the comments raised from previous stages. Attends regular Technical Design Coordination meetings with the Design Consultants and other Sub Consultants and Contractor’s. Package Salary varies upon experience.
