Senior Project engineer - Civil Infrastructure

Job Title: Senior Project Engineer Location: Christchurch New Zealand. Salary : $90k – $100k ( New Zealand Dollars) Company The Company has enjoyed a huge growth of work in hand and thus is seeking motivated individuals who are passionate and enthusiastic about civil engineering and construction projects. They are one of the main contractors in New Zealand and has many projects across the nation. The earthquake rebuild has benefitted the company to offer more interesting roles. Main Duties The successful persons would be expected to have a solid civil engineering and construction background and be familiar with the whole life cycle of a project from scoping and tendering of works planning and setting up of projects sub contract selection and appointment design management management and control of the construction works through to close out and hand over of project and financial close. Requirements * Bachelor Degree in Civil or similar construction related quals. * Min. 9 10 years of post grad experience in a leading civil sector. * Demonstrated experience in previously successfully delivering major projects or large sections of big projects in line with roads/rail/major concrete structures/ and earthworks. * Previous experience in building your own complete project team. * Ability to deliver results managing a large team work independently. * Excellent written and oral communication skills. * Chartered status considered a major benefit. * 457 sponsorship considered for the correct individuals.
